Albert Jongewaard
Senior Development Manager, Apex Clean Energy
 
Albert Jongewaard is the Senior Project Development Manager for White Birch Wind and is the lead Apex Clean Energy representative overseeing development while working with the team and broader community to answer questions and make this project a reality. Albert began his career working on campaigns in Wisconsin, New Jersey, Mississippi, and Alabama. In 2010, Albert left the campaign trail to represent several Alabama Gulf Coast communities during the height of the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. He continued in this role and oversaw multiple economic development initiatives before joining Apex Clean Energy in November 2016. Since joining Apex, Albert has worked on wind and solar projects in Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Anna Hays
Public Engagement Manager, Apex Clean Energy

Anna Hays is the Public Engagement Manager for White Birch Wind. Anna has spent much of her career working in state and local policy development. Through this work, she found her true passion for community economic development. Anna believes homegrown, American clean energy is the next powerful economic frontier for midwestern and western states across the U.S. As a Public Engagement Manager, Anna works closely with local elected officials, community leaders, landowners, and residents to gather feedback, answer project questions, and work alongside communities to realize the vast benefits of local renewable energy development. Anna lives in Sioux Falls, SD.
